Ms Angela Alibrando

Angela has spent a significant number of years in the education sector working as a primary and secondary teacher.

Angela is the Principal of MacKillop Education (Caulfield Campus) supporting students who are disengaged or at risk of disengagement from education, and is currently studying a Masters of Education (Leadership and Management, minoring in Student Wellbeing) at Melbourne University.  Angela previously worked for Victoria University in training and workplace-education coordination.  She has extensive qualifications in education and foster care, including a Bachelor of Education from Melbourne University and post-graduate qualifications in social investment and philanthropy, executive coaching and training and assessment.

Angela has spent a significant number of years in the education sector working as a primary and secondary teacher, taking on other roles such as curriculum coordination, Vice Principal, Head of Early Childhood and Head of Primary. Angela previously worked in the not-for-profit sector as a team leader and also coordinates recruitment, training and accreditation of volunteer carers for children, and adolescents and adults with a disability.  

Whether Angela is working with refugee communities, Indigenous communities in the Kimberley, newly arrived immigrants, children with disability, volunteers, executives or her peers, she believes that relationships, conversations, stories and valuing every person is the foundation of transformational change.

Her career objectives are to strategically use her education and leadership skills to work collaboratively for continuous improvement and innovation in the areas of inclusion and diversity.
