Star of the Sea College offers a contemporary, values-based education that nurtures the development of the whole person. We instill in our students a strong sense of connectedness, a deep commitment to their faith, and a belief in their potential to succeed.
Guided by our motto, Facta non Verba (Deeds, not Words), we inspire students to strive for excellence through purposeful action, not only for their own growth but in service to the broader community and beyond.
We take great pride in our 141-year tradition of providing exceptional education in the Bayside area. We warmly invite families to join us for a tour of Star of the Sea College, where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. College tours are available throughout the school year, beginning in February.

Yesterday we hosted a Mock Interview Event for Year 9 students. Students completed a job application including a cover letter and resume followed by an interview with volunteers. Once the formal interview was complete, they received feedback on the interview and their job application.
It was an excellent opportunity to help students grow in confidence and to start thinking about their future career goals. Feedback from the students was very positive and they felt this was a valuable experience for them. Likewise, feedback from our interviewers was complementary on the fantastic manner in which our students presented themselves in the interviews.
We are very grateful to the Star of the Sea College community and staff who volunteered their time and expertise to make this event the success it was. Thank you to Careers leader Emma Wagner for organising this fabulous initiative! ... See MoreSee Less
