WELCOME TO STAR

Star of the Sea College offers a contemporary, values-based education that nurtures the development of the whole person. We instill in our students a strong sense of connectedness, a deep commitment to their faith, and a belief in their potential to succeed.

Guided by our motto, Facta non Verba (Deeds, not Words), we inspire students to strive for excellence through purposeful action, not only for their own growth but in service to the broader community and beyond.

TOUR STAR OF THE SEA COLLEGE

We take great pride in our 141-year tradition of providing exceptional education in the Bayside area. We warmly invite families to join us for a tour of Star of the Sea College, where every student is valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. College tours are available throughout the school year, beginning in February.

Year 12 student Katya recently presented her Science teacher, Paula Hicks, with a stunning hand-crocheted blanket of the periodic table.

Katya dedicated about six months over the past two years to create this intricate piece, making it a truly unique and thoughtful gesture. A wonderful way to honour the impact of a teacher!

Year 9 Mock Interviews Volunteers required

We are excited to announce that we are running mock interviews for Year 9 students. This is a fantastic opportunity for them to prepare for and experience an interview and to receive valuable feedback on their communication and interviewing skills.

The mock Interviews are running on Tuesday 12 November from 9am to 1.30pm. Each interview will run for approximately 15 minutes.

We are seeking interested parents and community members to assist with this very important skills based programme and would appreciate volunteers for all or part of the session.

Please note those involved will require an up-to-date WWCC.

If you are able to volunteer please email Emma Wagner ewagner@starmelb.catholic.edu.au
