Star’s Careers and Pathway Program is designed to empower students with the guidance, expertise, and skills needed to unlock their potential, explore their passions, and discover how to best achieve their goals and future success.
Careers Centre
The Careers Centre offers careers support to Years 9 to 12 students, as subject choices and pathways will determine their future career options.
In Years 9 and 10 the Career Education focus is on self and opportunity awareness to assist our students with the tools to make informed decisions regarding their VCE pathway planning and future studies.
In Years 11 and 12, Star offers tailored Careers guidance to support and guide each student, reflecting the College’s dedication to ensuring that every young person is truly understood, supported, and valued in their pathway planning.
“Finding your passion is the key to your success.”
Tracy Kauffman
Careers Website
Star’s online Careers website provides the necessary tools and resources to help students explore the many options available to them.
Resources are also available to help parents and guardians support their students with career planning.
Career Support
Support is provided by our qualified Careers Leader, Ms Emma Wagner, who will guide students through their senior study, VTAC applications, Year 10 Morrisby interviews, work experience and future study options.
To book an appointment and discuss career options, students may email Emma directly. Students will then receive a link to book their Careers meeting at a suitable time. The Careers Centre is located next to the Josepha Dunlop Library and IT support.
