Music Instrumental Program
Star of the Sea College is home to a comprehensive instrumental program. Music lessons are provided by visiting expert teachers on instruments including:
- Violin
- Viola
- Cello
- Double Bass
- Trumpet
- Trombone
- Clarinet
- Flute
- Percussion
- Pianoforte
- Guitar
- Bass guitar
- Voice, music theory, speech and drama and Irish dancing are also offered.
Every student can take advantage of this optional program, with lessons occurring on a rotational basis throughout the school day each week. Students participating in lessons will also have the opportunity to further develop their skills by joining one or more of the College’s many musical ensembles. This program fosters the musical abilities of students through to VCE Music Performance standard.
