As part of our Year 12 Religious Education Talks, Presentation Sister Joan Kennedy from
Australian Catholic Religious Against Trafficking in Humans (ACRATH) came to speak to Year 12 students today about how we can respond to issues of human trafficking both abroad and in Australia. She shared stories of how she advocates and walks alongside others who have been exploited and coerced. She also shared how we can take action and be conscious consumers especially this Lent and Easter season.

Star of the Sea College's Clubs and Activities Expo continues to grow with well over 20 groups represented this year. Lunch time was a thrive of activity and entertainment with students engaging with the various clubs gaining a better understanding of what's on offer.

The large variety of clubs and activities available at Star is testament to the College's inclusivity and strong desire for students to belong, learn, advocate and express themselves in a supported community.

The Expo featured representatives from the Writers' Collective, Young Inventors Club, Sustainability Group, Student to Student Reading Group, Stacella Choir, Students' Representative Council, Sports Faculty, Music Faculty, Magazine Committee, Living Justice Group, LGBTQAI+ Group, Irish Dancing Group, Italian Club, Instrumental Group, First Nations and Friends Group, Faith and Liturgy Team, Drama Festival Group, Debating Club and the Art Club.

Special thanks to Maree Fletcher, Head of Student Wellbeing for coordinating such a wonderful event.
