Star of the Sea College operates two cafés throughout the school year, catering to the on-site College community.
Both cafés, managed by the dedicated team at Great Gatherings Catering, offer students and staff a wide variety of delicious and nutritious food and drink options, with dietary requirements thoughtfully catered for.
Great Gatherings Catering is committed to providing healthy choices, focusing on fresh ingredients prepared on-site daily. From fresh salads and sandwiches to hot meals and snacks, students and staff are well catered for. Menus change seasonally to offer a variety of options suited to different tastes and dietary needs.
Throughout the year, the cafés run special promotions and themed meals to keep things exciting for the students and staff.
Nagle Café
Nagle Café, located on the ground floor of the Nagle Campus, is open from 7.30am to 2.00pm, Monday to Friday, during the school term. As the larger of the two cafés, Nagle Café offers the full range of menu options.
Kildare Café
Kildare Café, located on the ground floor of the Heritage Building, is open from 7.30am to 11.00am, Monday to Friday, during the school term.
A dedicated barista is available from 7.30am, making Kildare Café the place to go for amazing coffee, tea, hot chocolate as well as freshly baked muffins, toasted sandwiches, croissants and other daily specials.
Flexischools Cashless Payments
Star of the Sea College uses Flexischools as its cashless solution provider. Simply set up an online account and add funds at your discretion. The funds will be loaded onto your student’s ID card for café purchases*.
*Cash and card payments are also accepted.
Pre-ordering Lunch
Lunches can also be pre-ordered using the Flexischools platform.
