Students can expand their horizons and gain a nationally recognised certificate by completing the Vocational Education and Training (VET) program within the VCE/VCE VM program. Students must demonstrate clear evidence of specific extra interest or commitment to the subject such as through previous study, external activities or work experience.
Star of the Sea College offers onsite VCE VET Certificate II & III Business, and from Year 11 onwards students can apply to study one of many externally run VET courses as part of their Senior Studies program.
VET programs are part of the VCE and VCE VM programs, and also contribute to the completion of nationally recognised qualifications. A number of VET courses make a contribution to the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank (ATAR).
Other VET courses can be studied off-campus and incur an additional cost. For more information about VET please contact our VCE VM & VET Leader or visit the dedicated VET webpage here.
