Debating and Public Speaking
A range of debating and public speaking opportunities are offered at Star of the Sea College, allowing students to develop their confidence and share their voice. Students train as a group, working in teams and providing each other with intellectual challenges. Star students rise to the rigorous challenges presented by debating and are validated by regularly reaching competition finals.

Star is proud to support the development of vocal young people. The Debaters Association of Victoria (DAV) is a non-profit association that exists to promote debate.
