Star’s Annual Giving Day is this Thursday, 6 June. This year, with the help of the College community we aim to raise $100,000 to build contemporary exhibition spaces throughout the Heritage Building. They will be permanent fixtures that showcase our students’ work and creativity across all disciplines. (A range of display options will be considered including lighting systems, digital displays and illuminated showcases).
The exhibition spaces will allow every student to experience that sense of pride and achievement which comes with exhibiting examples of their endeavour and hard work. All subjects from science to art, multimedia to maths, literature to sport will be on display, showcasing the abilities, aspirations and ingenuity of our amazing students.
The theme of this year’s Giving Day is ‘Creating a place for every Star to shine‘. It sums up the importance of celebrating student diversity and the need to recognise and appreciate what it is that makes each student unique and special.
The Heritage Building exhibition spaces will provide a powerful source of inspiration for students and a place they will aspire to see their work displayed.
