Nano’s Walk – Help us reach $30,000!

This Friday, Star of the Sea College celebrates Foundation Day with a special Mass, recognising our founders, Mothers John Byrne and Paul Fay, who established Star in 1883.

Following the Mass, every student takes part in Nano’s Walk – a 7km journey along the Bayside Trail, inspired by Nano Nagle, the founder of the Presentation Sisters in Ireland over 250 years ago. This walk reflects her dedication to serving others, and her tireless commitment to education and uplifting those in need.

This year, we are aiming to raise $30,000 for four incredible charities that truly “walk the talk”: Wellsprings for Women (Dandenong), Saltbush, Balnarring (Presentation Family Centre), Presentation Sisters Victoria Community Works and Caritas Australia – Project Compassion.

If every student raises just $30, we will reach our goal! Your contribution will directly support these organisations in their vital work.

Let’s walk with purpose, give generously, and create lasting change together! Facta non Verba – Deeds not Words.
