On Monday 15 June, the Star community will come together for Giving Day 2026 in support of the Star Bursary Fund.
Guided by our Presentation values and the College motto, Facta non Verba (Deeds not Words), Giving Day is an opportunity for our community to make a meaningful difference in the lives of current and future students.
The Star Bursary Fund helps ensure that a young person’s circumstances do not define their educational journey. It supports students experiencing financial hardship, families facing unexpected changes in circumstances, and young people who would thrive at Star if given the opportunity.
Through the generosity of our community, students can participate fully in school life, embrace new opportunities, build lasting friendships and experience all that a Star education has to offer.
The impact of the Bursary Fund is significant. In 2023, the Star community raised more than $92,000 to support students and families through the Fund. This year, we hope to build on that achievement and raise $100,000 to further expand access to a Star education.
Every donation made on Giving Day will be doubled thanks to the support of generous matching donors, meaning each contribution will have twice the impact. A gift of $50 becomes $100, while a donation of $250 becomes $500, helping to open doors for students who may otherwise miss opportunities available to their peers.

Through the Star Bursary Fund, we can continue Nano Nagle’s vision of ensuring education remains accessible to those who need it most.
